Dankort

 Launched in 1983, Dankort allows consumers to make secure payments both online and in physical stores. Its widespread acceptance, coupled with low transaction fees for merchants, has made it a dominant player in Denmark’s payment landscape.

Dankort is often co-branded with Visa, allowing it to be used internationally as a Visa card. Its seamless integration with MobilePay and other digital payment platforms has helped it maintain its relevance in the modern payments’ ecosystem​.
